この度、JAA研究委員会では、会員限定行事として、Joongi Kim教授（Yonsei Law School）をお招きし、『Balancing between the Inquisitorial and Adversarial Approaches in International Commercial Arbitration』とのテーマで研究講座を開催いたします。

As the predominant means for international dispute resolution, international commercial arbitration represents a synthesis of the inquisitorial approach that originates from civil law jurisdictions and the adversarial approach that is represented by common law jurisdictions. This talk will revisit the tensions that arise between the two approaches in modern commercial arbitration, particularly from an Asian perspective, and explore how an optimum balance can be achieved.
